About Me

Hello, I'm Cate! I'm excited to share my missionary journey with you.

I first experienced a desire to serve in foreign missions as a young teenager when a missionary priest spoke at my parish. After high school I entered into full-time ministry, serving families in both the U.S. and Mexico. Feeling called in a different direction, I spent four years working as a graphic designer while being active in my parish and community. During a short-term mission trip in General Cepeda, Mexico, the Lord called me back into ministry with Family Missions Company. In 2019 I had the joy of serving God's people in the jungle of northern Peru!

Currently I am blessed to combine my passion for mission with my love for design and communication. This year I have been called to serve in the media department of Family Missions Company at our home base in Louisiana. It is a joy to be a voice for our missionaries and for the poor.

I am grateful for my parents and four sibling who are the best family anyone could ask for. Some of the things in life that bring me joy are playing violin, strong coffee, dark chocolate, a good novel, meaningful conversation, creative cooking, and sunsets.
